Our Story
Born from necessity, built for millions
Tesfa Pay was founded in 2018 when our founder tried to send money home and was met with outrageous fees, confusing interfaces, and days-long delays. He knew the technology to fix this existed — it just hadn't been applied with enough care for the people who needed it most.
What started as a small remittance tool for the Ethiopian and Eritrean diaspora has grown into a full-featured payment platform serving users across Africa, Europe, North America, and the Middle East.
